The Kansas City Jazz Ambassadors are excited to be a part of the West Bottoms 3rd Annual Heritage Week.

Join us to celebrate the heritage of jazz in KC with our fundraiser at the Ship, a classic cocktail lounge in the heart of the West Bottoms. For a mere $10 you can enjoy a 4 hour Jam Session hosted by the Bryan Hicks Trio, featuring Bryan on upright bass and vocals, Joe Miquelon on keyboards, and Jim Lower on drums! Musicians, bring your axes and sit in! Catch-N-Release Food Truck will have fried fish, BBQ and more for sale! Relax with a chair massage from Kristina Ning, CMT!

KCJA is a non-profit whose mission is to help preserve the rich cultural heritage of jazz in Kansas City, and to support and promote the musicians, students, businesses and fans of the Kansas City jazz community. Our financial support comes primarily from membership fees, tax-deductible donations, and fundraising events.

A majority of the proceeds from our fundraising efforts go directly to our Musician�s Assistance Fund (MAF) and the Tommy Ruskin Memorial Scholarship Fund.
